Managing consumption undertaken by marketing and business staff is the primary focus of this new research centre which draws in a range of researchers from business and management disciplines. Responsible consumption, rights versus responsibilities, environmental and ethical identities, and barriers to sustainable consumption are among the issues explored by the multi-disciplinary team.

Staff will be looking at opportunities to work across faculties, schools and research units to design and deliver practical business interventions through research, consultancy and knowledge exchange.

Embracing a wide range of disciplines the centre will draw on the work of researchers in areas including retail management, marketing, strategy, accounting and project management.
