The University of Gloucestershire is hosting a community picnic at its Park campus in Cheltenham and everybody is invited. ‘Picnic in the Park’, which takes place on Friday 10 June from 4pm to 7pm, will see fun and games for all ages - from egg and spoon racing and a tug of war to hook a duck competitions and face painting with much more besides. The event is open to all students, staff, members of the community and their families.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnics with Pimms and soft drinks being available to purchase – the first 75 to arrive will get a drink for free! Food will also be available to buy from a BBQ run by the university’s caterers, Baxter Storey.
