All university-approved houses are advertised on the StudentPad website.
This list features in-depth information about each property along with other useful tools and a message board. You can obtain access to Studentpad by completing the registration process on the website. Please note that access is only given to students with a firm offer at the university (meaning that you have recieved an unconditional or conditional offer from us, and made us your firm (first) choice).
University-approved housing is a service provided exclusively to University of Gloucestershire students. The housing support team produces a list of available housing, which landlords have registered through our registration scheme. This scheme ensures all properties have been visited and meet certain health and safety criteria set by the university including providing gas and electrical certificates. Please note that the contract will be directly with the landlord and not the university. You should expect to pay approximately £65-100 per week rent. (The higher end of the rent range would normally be inclusive of all bills.)
University-approved lodgings are study bedrooms available in houses where the owner lives in the same property. These lodgings offer a variety of flexible non-fixed term accommodation with the choice of self-catering, half-board or breakfast only. Rents for self-catered lodgings are approximately £70- 100 per week. Lodgings are generally good value for money with no further bills to pay. This accommodation also offers flexibility as there are no formal tenancy agreements. The accommodation team does not view these properties but asks for a copy of a valid landlord’s gas certificate.

Homestay accommodation for international students
Homestay accommodation is available to international students who are studying an English language course at INTO University of Gloucestershire. Students choose this type of accommodation for the benefits of home comforts, a chance to practice their English and generally learn about the British way of life. Homestay is not simply renting a room; there is an expectation to be treated as one of the household.
Homestay fees will cover breakfast and evening meal Monday to Friday, and breakfast, lunch and evening meal at the weekends.
The INTO student experience team manages a database of homestay hosts within the Cheltenham area that offer bedrooms available in houses where the owner lives in the same property. They will visit the property to assess it before entering the host onto the database. It's important that the host lives within Cheltenham and within two bus journeys to the Park campus.
