The majority of the University of Gloucestershire's 9,000 students live in private sector accommodation across Cheltenham and Gloucester.
The housing support team is here to meet the housing requirements and expectations of students and introduce them to good quality local properties.
The university prides itself on offering good-quality housing and runs a list of university-approved houses available to all students at the university.

Being a landlord of a university-approved house
Please find below the registration pack for 2016/17 academic year. This information will take you through this year’s registration. Read all the information carefully including the Landlords Guide before completing these forms.
Please complete the attached registration form along with your certificates and return directly to email@example.com. One form per property is required.
This year, landlords will have three options for paying the registration fee:
- Via the online shop. You will need to register an account the first time you use this service. Once the payment has been made you will be provided with the payment reference number, which we would ask you insert on the last page of the registration form.
- Paying by cheque made payable to the ‘University of Gloucestershire’ and returned to the following address: Accommodation, Student Services, Bodley Building, Francis Close Hall, Cheltenham, GL50 4AZ.
- Paying by cash directly in the accommodation office. A receipt will be provided.
Please note that no paperwork will be processed until payment has been received.
We will email landlords once we have completed your paperwork and your advert is live. At this point we will request that landlords log on to the system and check their adverts, informing us within five working days if they would like any changes made. Alternatively, you can make changes directly on the site.

There is a dedicated housing support team within the accommodation office that consists of advisers who are able to offer advice and guidance on all issues relating to private-let housing in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
The housing support team are able to act as mediators between landlords and tenants should any problems occur and are more than happy to help with any housing issues.
