Accommodation for Clearing students
Once you have secured your place to study at the university through clearing, the next thing you will want to do is find somewhere to live during your first year with us. The University of Gloucestershire will help all first year undergraduates find suitable accommodation within university managed or approved accommodation.
You can apply for accommodation once you have firmly accepted a place with us here. Once you have completed this application, one of two things can happen:
1. If a room is available, you will be sent an email detailing the specific accommodation we are able to offer you. This email will also tell you how to access our online accommodation system and accept your offer.
2. If our student residences are full, we will send you an invitation to attend our House-Hunting event, which will help you find somewhere to live. There are plenty of housing options, so don’t worry!
The House-Hunting event
The house-hunting event will be held on Thursday 1 September 2016. You must make an online application for accommodation to receive an invitation to the house-hunting day. Only first-year students that we are unable to house will be invited to the event.
The day is hosted by our Accommodation team and it’s a fun event where you’ll be able to secure private accommodation for the year. Staff from across Student Services will greet you and the day allows you to meet fellow students studying on the same campuses. Full details of our online approved housing database and Facebook pages will be emailed in advance.
